We have tons of osprey around here, I'm struck by just how well they can 'fish'; I'm always seeing them with a fish in their talons.
I had an interesting sighting yesterday, while out on a run. I was crossing a bridge over a small feeder creek to the Intracoastal waterway and saw what at first I thought was a large tire in the water. As I looked closer I notice it was the very large tail of a 7 ft alligator. I spooked it and when it took off, it created a tsunami of water. I wish I had my camera
