LOL! You've fed your petunias already! I can understand - you have to work fast to get the best result.

Love your fish tank water .. sounds like elixir to the plants. I had one 3.5 ft long 18inches tall, but had to get rid of it. Still got one left empty tank left, but it has a bit of a leak. Might get son to repair and get some guppies in. I used to tons of guppies..

-20C is serious stuff.

I will soon be too old to pull that craziness off and will drive down to the hatchery on cold and windy days.lol

LOL! Such a cold country! Do you lot have arthritis? I have to see a specialist at 3 pm. Come back for a cup of tea and some lunch. I have sowed some rockets, parsley, coriander, spinach and some salad leaves.. Also some zinnia .. Weeded the wild seed back to get rid of the phacelia - what a nightmare... Never again..

Couldn't find the sphagnum moss, so air layering will have to be put off.

I have always loved and grown Zinnias Alp, but I am skipping a year this time. Wasn't able to collect seeds before the frost last fall and I am determined to go a season without entering a garden centre. So I resume Zinnias next year.

Gee, johnny: you're so good with your flowers and you could even collects zinnia seeds in Canada! Quite amazing! You must have quite hot temperature .. or you're indeed very good.

So, johnny, is it a good idea to block the light, ruining my perfect enjoyment of your little cuties?? LOL!

Funny thing is that I did exactly that today.. and therefore I can't use those photos at all.. Love your way with your birds.. I wish I could feed my robins using my hands .. I reckon I might have to sit there for 3 days solid to get anywhere near the way you attract your cuties..

Johnny, what a great photo. You are very lucky to have a wild bird come to feed from your hand. I'd be thrilled to bits if I could do that. I used to have a fish pond where I could feed fish by hand but never a bird.

Wow: Runny, you're a night owl... I was snoring then. I've sooo productive yesterday.. was drifting into unconsciousness when I posted the last post..

Morning to all: What a miserable day! Fogmagedden .. Shrouded in it. Going to sow more seeds today.

Some photos to brighten up the day, perhaps. Day of the Daff or Naffs

I thought that I would have plenty of time as I've now had 14 wks of post opp recovery-- back to work in a fortnight!!!!! The more time I have , the more I find to do...........well that's my excuse:D:D

Have a great day everyone x

Daisy: Make sure you're ok to potter. I think you're the youngest amongst us all. No sun today and the heating is on .. Going to rummage through my seed boxes again.. Lots of seeds, but just don't know where to put them in the garden.

It's very warm now. Is it still cold in Redditch?

It's simply stunning outside. The sunlounge is beautifully warm and messy again.

More photos

A double pinkish white tulip and I have a whole pot of them. First year!

And I thought this is a black one. Er, no. I still haven't got the mentality of grouping them together to create impact!

Good morning everyone. 6am and I'm sitting here with my coffee and trying to decide where I will bike to today.
I accomplished a few things yesterday. After my bike ride I took the Christmas light down and while I was on the roof I cleaned out the gutters. Continued to pile apple tree branched into the back of my truck and kept on with those Petunia seedlings.

Happy looking daffs Alp. No sign of mine yet.

Oh, now look at your tulips!

Good morning to Canada! Was saying you should join the bloomer competition i.e Sunflowers .. Er, you might be a bit late..

You've done well. I have done nothing apart from posting something and slept (shame to admit that), but been feeling very tired.

I will seed some petunia as well. Found a packet whilst tidying up the computer desk. Surprised not to have found my clematis seeds. I have about 12 clematises in pots around the swing area.. Can't wait to see them flowers.. Need to seed some more courgettes as those out were like dead. Already the black manage tout called Shiraz have already self seeded. Brilliant, soon I will have black mange tout for meals. I will cut some land cress for meals. Shame not to use it.. Need to rip myself off this chair again..

Wish I could send you my sage, Logan. I don't even know what to do with mine.. It's staring at me .. as if what are you going to do with me now .. lovely and healthy and I have 2 ..
