I've just realised that we should probably get the ball rolling if we're going to do the Sunflower Competition this year! Apologies for the delay, I'm still getting back up to speed after my absence.

I haven't taken a picture of it but after all that tilling and shoveling I did a volunteer sunflower from last year has sprouted. How it wasn't buried a foot deep is a mystery.

5 1/2 weeks? Now is the perfect time to sow tomato seeds
