When can I tell if my Basil is ready? They are suppose to be really easy to grow indoors. However, I have them in my garden outdoors. They are getting really tall. So when can I began to cook with them?

At any time after they have 5 or 6 sets of true leaves and have that wonderful aroma when you squish a leaf
