I have the gardening porn from Sarah Ravens and I would have a look when I had time tomorrow. Been out to seeing some houses.

One thing for sure, even rubbish looks nice in colour. I rushed to view this bungalow, on its plot again. But to travel to the house, we had to go down a bumpy road and after that A13 traffic noise droned on non-stop. Then went to another house in the best location, very near the post office and right on top of the area, but the garden was robbed of the sunshine by it neighbours. 2pm home and after meal worked non-stop until 6pm.

Such lovely weather here, too, Zenj! It's so nice inside the car - felt absolutely glorious and hopeful.

Saw my old friend, pink hellebores with lovely freckles

This is a lovely revamp! Hey! Thank you to the web-designers! Bravo!

So much faster!

AMAZING! FABULOUS!

Good morning and it's a cold morning. Got up 4.12 to do the laundry. Electrician's going to be here today, so I will have time to go and label the hellebores and hopefully shift some to pay for the expense.

Here's a few hellebores that are first out.
It's not easy taking them when stooping down to them.

Good morning and it's dark and cold, I guess.

Yesterday, it took me 2 hours and 3 bottles of water to clear an area of 5 layers (at least )of wallpapers. That was only nearly 2 foot by 3.5. It was awful and hard work. Top layer of woodchip and of course the backing didn't come off. Then there is a blue strip one, then there is a bamboo like layer and another with tiny flower. The worst is the diamond shape motif layer which had become part of the surface! I nearly burst into tears. After that, I was totally exhausted and fell asleep watch the 10.30 episode of It Takes a Killer! As I woke up 4 yesterday morning, I was totally gone. After that, I couldn't fall asleep. To crown it all, the breadmaker innard hadn't been put inside the breadmaker and we have no bread for breakfast this morning. Another day of hard work.

The bathroom was so bright with 4 3=star triple A LED lights that all the dirt was magnified. I hope the new family will be happy here!

Agree. Perki! Things look a bit fainty, but the upload speed is AWSOME!

It was so cold yesterday that I couldn't even look at my flowers properly. Another week without rain. I hope it comes soon as I can see my hellebore patches drying!:banghead:

Good morning all cold but no frost. Worked out why i was getting 6 pics instead of 3 that i should have had. When the pic had loaded i didn't need to click on the full image, it was already there. It's a good upgrade.:)

That's a shame, we haven't had rain for some time, but I'm not complaining. Don't mind it being cold as long as it's dry.:)

It must have rained as the road was a bit wet when I went out half an hour ago. Please rain a bit as it's getting a bit too dry!

Good morning all
Glad that you had a bit of rain Alp.
Not doing any gardening today I've pulled a muscle in my back. I'm a bit annoyed with myself it would have been good to do something in the garden today.:(

Not a very good morning to my beloved laptop. Had trouble starting up. Frantically pressing F2, F10 and F12 and finally, it decided to come out of sulking. I really love this laptop and have had it for nearly 7 to 8 years, so it is pretty much a geriatric like me! :D (ah, this is supposed to be a big grim! LOL! It looks alarmed! I think I'd stick to LOL! Hehe!)

Thank heavens that I didn't have to reset the laptop to the last known setting, or even worse, factory setting. Bread failed to rise as son had forgotten to put in water!

Yesterday, the wind was up at 2.30 and we went to view a bungalow with a gated entrance. Security, but it's a bit of like me and them! This is the 2nd time I have seen gated entrance in the same area (a bit run down and lots of rental properties) It's a shame that the bungalows are low down overlooked by houses! But it's only 8 years old and yet the previous owner must have smoked and smoked and fumed! It's small and compact, with an alcove for washing machine in the living room! Funny idea! Imagine flooding when the washing machine breaks down?! Outside tap! Shame it's nowhere near a post office!

For some reason, it looks very dark.

Very dark!

This is the garden to this frontage

What a shame! Would love to have the same size garden. This is what is happening to the size of our gardens in new built! Very sad!
