Hi,
We get all kinds of weather here alp; the picture below shows thick dense fog topped by a glorious sky; talk about contrasts; to see this was truly awesome as our American friends would say. The fog was sitting along the valley bottom and looking directly over it was very strange indeed but it was beautiful. It was a massive bank of fog that started just across the street from us like a wall. I too love the sun but it's rare here and I'm still awaiting global warming to arrive? The best things in life are free.

View attachment 29337 Head down washing very greasy oven trays, my son cooked and cleaned up last night and left these to soak so not a pretty sight at 6.30am but I looked up and smiled. My regulars, king parrots after their breakie. They have it now

missed this question. Made more coffee this fine chilly Sunday morning. planted all my bulbs yesterday, organized water features for the winter, all that made me smile. Burning leaves today another smile. Staying home doing home stuff, all smiles.
Astonished police stop a PEDAL-powered car causing massive tailbacks on 60mph road
A four-wheel bicycle with fibreglass cab and a lopsided rear wheel (pictured) was spotted on the A56 Skipton Road in Lancashire this week
I guess I would be fuming if I were driving behind him.. Hilarious!

This is my smile of the day.... after feeling off colour for the last few days ...went for a short walk around this gorgeous favourite spot of mine...... luckily it's only the other side our hedge
Oh, beautiful pictures. And you kept saying you didn't take good photos. The 2nd one is lovely in bringing out the the light and the tree tops.. You definitely captured the haziness of the light.
