My smile raiser today was returning my younger sister to her own home .
She had been seriously ill back in the summer and nearly died and since Aug she has been living with us as she slowly regained her health and strength....not completely there yet , but almost.
There had been a time when we really worried as to whether she would pull through......but today proved ...she has

The local woodpecker just let me know that the suet holder is empty by pecking my metal stove pipe. He is VERY insistent!

When I saw @Zenji's beautiful flowers, @johnny canoe 's wildlife, especially the little nuthatch and Mr Scruffy morphing into Mr Neat and @Larisa 's dressing up of the sunflowers ... and @Logan 's basketfuls of chillis and berries, I smiled .. I cackled when I saw @Rajesh Sethi 's vivacious gifs.. very expressive and funny!
