Hi,

It's years since I used the hosepipe; it took a while to clean the spiders webs from it but I've just given everything a good soaking; I'm amazed by how quickly the garden dried out after years of rain but then we do live on a steep valley side; I've actually seen dust today.

After a drenching winter with never ending rain, we are actually quite dry here in N.C. We have only had 1 rain in the last two weeks so now I am able to mow.

My weather took a real turn for the worse last night.I hade a tornado go right between my old house and my new one. I was fortunate in that there was no damage to either house but I won’t be doing any gardening for a while. Now I will be using my chainsaw instead of my rototiller.

How unfortunate Silentrunning to suffer the tree damage but by the look of the big tree it was overdue to be removed also the big branch in the first picture; any more like these whilst you have the chainsaw out? I won't say the obvious that you were lucky not to sustain property damage had you been lucky you wouldn't have endured the tornado in the first instance. Be careful using the chainsaw.

I wish you hadn't mentioned thunderstorms Logan but I'm sure you're right; whenever we enjoy such warm dry weather it comes at a price and I'm expecting the valley to be lit up shortly at night.

Yes @Colin they mentioned it on the weather for tomorrow. Seems to be to the west of the country.
