An 11' sunflower is pretty impressive!
Years ago I grew some (Russian?) variety of sunflower. They got about 12' tall with flowers like dinner plates.

I'll take a photo of mine if it gets flowers. About 6' tall but probably not going to get much taller. Being how it had to be a stray seed from the nearby bird feeder.

We just got back after being away for a few days... to find both our sunflowers lying flat on the ground Looks like it was rather warm, and without water weighing down the containers they are in they toppled over. We've stood them up and given them a long drink! Fingers crossed
