Glad that cheered you up :)

See that pile of stuff in the background in my pic?

Well really naughty moderators tend to get lashed up and sing the blues of an evening....

But sometimes they forget to start singing till 2 and a half minutes into the video

Such a romantic. LOL!

Oh btw...I measured my mutant sunflower a day or two ago and it was well over 9ft from ground to top of flower. o_O I'll get an "official" measurement by Friday. Poor thing is listing seriously south...if it weren't for the fence I do believe it would be horizontal on the ground.

My final entry with pic as requested. :) Since my poor leaning sunflower with the mutant head was too wonky to measure easily, I used a rope, then ran that along the tape measure. 9' 4". Have no idea what type; I assume something dropped by a bird from my feeders.

:)

We've had lots of rain in the last week.
Next year I think I will plant sunflowers on purpose! Such happy, pretty flowers.

Here are ours! Nowhere near as tall as @Beth_B's but not too bad considering we grew them in pots. Also they lost a lot of leaves when we went away during a hot spell of weather :(

This one is Ian's - it is about 2.4m tall:

Here's mine - like I mentioned earlier in this topic we went away and had very hot weather, and mine fell over and broke its neck. It's 2.5m tall though:

You can see that it has sprouted new flowers after losing the first! They don't look like they will become big flower though.

A broken neck, sounds drastic, luckily it wasn't fatal.
