I think I'll be joining the challenge, it shouldn't be too hard to have 10 posts by September

I have already sown Skyscraper and Earthwalker seeds I've collected from last years sunflowers.
Skyscraper is doing ok and growing slowly, but I'll have to sow Earthwalker again.

Been feeding mine, they survived the frost that nipped at the tomatoes a bit a few days ago

Lovely to see some progress photos @Darknessfairy and @zigs I must take some photos of mine! They've come through a tough week - we've had a mix of sun, snow, hail and thunderstorms!

We've had the same mix, now we know what a Pyrex dish feels like (other heat resistant cookware is available)

Bout the same size as the tray of them I had when I was in middle school when it was my turn to look after the school rabbit at easter.

Thought me sunflowers were wilting this morning, they'd leaned right over to face the rising sun.

I JUST realized that one of the flowers of this mix of seeds that I put in a large planter includes the sunflower. The package said the plants should grow to 20 inches.

Twenty-five (25) inches later, with the opening of the first flower, it's occurred to me that it's a sunflower.

You can try, but you can't get much past me!
