Should I cut my losses?

Okay, so I'm new to gardening.
On April 2nd I planted arugula, carrots, and white onion all from seeds.
Since then my arugula has sprouted and is doing well,
but I don't see ANY carrot/onion sprouts after 15 days.
I might have started them to early, its been cold here.

My question is do I cut my losses and replant something else in the pot
or do I give it more time. The seed packet technically said up to 21 days
to show sprouts, but it just seems like I should have seen something by now.

For carrots you should have seen germination by now and your onions should have sprouted to but onions require warm temperatures to germinate. What has the temperatures been since you planted the seeds, both day and night?

It will be worth bringing your seeds into the house to keep them warm. As long as they are not too wet as well as cold, they still have a chance of germination. They will rot, only if they are over-watered. Good luck.

My carrots have sprouted in 10 days with temps 30-75F.
My green onions have sprouted in 11 days with temps 50-85F.

Your max temps are a bit cooler than that. I'd give them some more time and try to keep the soil warmer if I could as Tetters suggests.

I agree that to bring them into the warm may well help the onion seeds; they are tough buggers.
Water them again using water as hot as your hand can stand, anf if you can access any, sprinkle a good spoon of woodash into the potting mix, as this helps with germination.
