Wish you were here as I failed to capture the glorious red in this anemone.

This orange one was taken with the panasonic and the colour is much more authentic, true to the real flower.

The one below by Samsung - What you see is not what I see.

Thank you all. Sorry that there are so many repeats. I think I need a new camera.. Must start playing lottery from now on. Haha! One camera shows more pixels, but the colours can be dodgy. The other one fewer pixels but colour more authentic, but still not quite the red that I have seen.

Wish you were here, instead of looking at my pathetic attempts to capture the beauty and vibrancy of the flowers, especially the anemone.. The red is out of this world.

Love to see more close ups from your gardens, @tbendl , @Verdun , @Logan and @Upsy Daisy . How about @MaryMary ? Larisa and all the others and our Canadian friend who is busy tending to ladies.. :D:p:ROFLMAO:

I will try and get out and take some pictures but it will most likely take 2 weeks. We are expecting rain all this week and I am out of town next week at a work conference. After that I will snap away for sure.

Yes, the reverse on the flowers is actually a purple blue.....very observant of you tbendl. ;) Lovely effect when the breeze blows. :)
I also grow a similar variety, Ruffled Swan, which has semi double flowers.....same blue reverse. ;)

They are lovely photos, and I like the 3rd one most. The reflection is just perfect. This reminds me of what a woman colleague of my ex said of a photo of me in Leeds Castle, "The photo and reflection are perfect, except that there's a person in it!" Grrrrrrrrrrrr... Can't blame her. The reflection is 100% perfect and Leeds Castle does look very nice from the outside.

Raining now.

@Verdun so many blooms. I have only got 4 for this new plant. Well chuffed. Have you fed them with viagra? Are you afraid that they might take over?

These are from my samsung again. The colours are really dodgy.

The sharp red in the anemone has not come out well, but there are more pixels, more details and the colours do not look so homogenised

On the viewfinder, the colour of the trollius is yellow:eek::eek::eek:. But the real flower is orange.

The colour distortion is shocking.

The Burma Star enjoys a velvety violet colour and here it's a wash out.

No problem with this.

Here comes the panasonic
The anemone is awful looking.
IMGA0051.JPG

In the viewfinder, the flower is actually orange and the flower itself is orange.

The clematis is a total wash out.

The delphinium loses its sparkle. Oh, dear! Need a new camera ..
@tbendl Wild swan is gorgeous. I loved it when I saw it in RHS Wisley Garden, but it was so dear. Took me a year to get my hand on them. But @Verdun is expert in making them all smile and dance.. en masse!

Alp, Wild Swan wont "take over" .......not invasive at all. ;) Nothing like the japanese anemones that DO invade and flower only in late summer. That particular clump is about a metre wide and tall so a bushy mound all summer (y)

The Japanese anemones that I have bought are all very pot bound and the root networks are just everywhere right to the edges of the pot. That's why I asked. Also Salvia hot lips is invasive? @Grey Parrot said so, I think!
