Meyer Lemon Leaves Yellowing and Browning

Well found a major problem with mine and my Money Tree.

Got Spider Mites. Took my plants out and Jet washed them roots and all.

Repotted and sprayed with Hot Pepper Tea I made simmering Hot Peppers in water for 20 minutes, then cooling and straining into a Spray Bottle. Sprayed them for 3 days.

I have 1,500 Lady Bugs ordered for the whole Greenhouse which I think I will do each year.

Spider mites are only on the leaves and stems. Washing the soil off the roots is a stress the plants really don’t need. Why everyone is so gung-ho to wash all the soil off the roots for every little issue is beyond me.

I have a lime and meyer lemon maybe 3 years old, and a 1yo grapefruit. All three were exhibiting yellow leaves last spring. I did a round of Romeo fertilizer 24-14-14 (which dissolves in water) and they picked up almost immediately. Green color returned and they all started pushing new growth.
