A lady in my neighborhood has a treehouse in her garden that's so fabulous, I wouldn't mind living there myself.
Do any of you guys have a treehouse? Here are some nice ones I saw on Pinterest.
These look like nice places to hide out and read.

Oh! It's like a fairy tale!:D I love them all, I'd love, love, love to have a tree house like one of these. I'd sit there all the time. They're like fairy houses, only bigger and you can live in them:D
These are gorgeous too:

I did I did when I was a kid and I absolutely had so much fun. It was made from plywood boxes from the Ford motor company I lived next door to.
I was so inspired by the movie Swiss Family Robinson as a boy I had to build one. A three storey one in fact.
When I had kids, I built them one also.
Love tree houses. Thanks for the great photos and memories.

Check out this link for a better view.

I would love, love to have one... I always wished for one.. I was a big time tree climber as a child... and have always dreamed of one.. Maybe someday. Thanks for those lovely tree houses posted here... took me back down memory lane to my childhood days.
Here is one cute and compact

That is gorgeous and I love the stairs. It looks about the size of a studio apartment. I would happily live there as an adult if it had electricity. Maybe it does. Some of the larger treehouses pictured above have electricity and internet.

Nice. This treehouse is fully electrified and looks like a small family could live there. My daughter, cat and small, yappy dog would like something like this.

I'm definitely feeling this tropical treehouse. The balcony/swing thing suspended from chains underneath is cool.

Dang, these people must be rich. This looks like a whole Ewok village.

The tree grows all the way through the house and comes out of the roof.

Wow, you guys have been busy! I always wanted a tree house as a child. There is something very romantic about them still, yet as an adult, my concern today would be bugs! You can't have a tree house without tree residents like insects, lizards or even birds and squirrels potentially coming for a visit. For me, that part would not be fun, lol!

These pictures are so much fun to look at and dream about what it would be like to have something like this to visit or look at daily. Thanks so much for sharing these photos.

So what's the perfect tree for a tree-house? Start planting.

My three storey tree-house was in an ancient almond tree. I would see the tree bloom with those glorious flowers and slowly turn into nuts. It would take forever before they would be ready to eat. I would use a bamboo pole to knock them down and it was an almond feast for everyone.:)

Check it out guys. An inhabited treehouse in Seattle, Washington.
An adult lives there full time. Awesome.

This 2 story treehouse in Hawaii is a little hotel. You can stay here for $195 a night and it's near a volcano.

This is a minimalist environmentally friendly treehouse that's supposed to be a sustainable living solution.

It's very simple but I think the surrounding trees are all the decoration you need.

The last one look too modern to me, it's just not romantic enough:p . But I'm in love with the rest of them. I could live in a tree house full time, I'm sure I would be very happy there:D
This one is magical:
