I was gifted this tree and the previous owner didn't have a clue what kind of plant it was. I'm looking for some insight on what it may be and some tips to bring it back to life! The closest I found on Google that resembled it was a yucca plant.

Can you post a closeup of the leaves and stems? The care for both is almost the same, so it’s not critical but it might help down the line.
That's a draceana and it needs much more light. You know, you can cut that down and it will sprout a bunch of leaves out the sides of each stem and then you have a really full and pretty plant. Especially if you repot it, give it new soil and put it in front of the window.
