Do I Go Against My Wife

I started doing Ruth Stout method in my garden. My wife came out there saying it was too dangerous. Because me being unsteady on my feet and can’t get up by myself if I fall.

I was going to do Raised Beds anyway but I’m looking what I have in the garden and it is looking real good.

Thinking of doing Raised Beds anyway and the garden too but I will have to buy a Broad Fork.

I’m thinking I need the exercise but then again I may never see the best of the garden.

Thinking I could just work in the garden when she is home like I do cutting Firewood.

That’s another thing I told after Sunday I’m going to move all the plants out of the Greenhouse because it is only dropping down into the 50’s. She says great we only need to cut Firewood for Sunday.

No it’s going to be too cold. But it’s not going to be too cold for the plants? They are different and will like it.

Ah I don’t know.

Answered my own question. Fell on the mulch.

No matter what you do keep moving. Movement is lubricant for the joints. And, women do have more common sense than men.

But milk I told her what we had was close because I ate cereal last night and it was close. She tells me she can’t smell so she would taste it. I smelled it and told her it was sour.

We go to the store and she buys a gallon I said why didn’t you just buy a half gallon? She tells me to hush.

Get to the car and she says half gallon was $3 a gallon is $4.

I always buy a gallon of milk, he drinks it a lot. But I buy one that is from a local dairy, no preservatives, organic etc. can always tell milk ready to turn if it separates in the hot coffee. sometime it really does not smell that strong yet.

We was getting from Amish they got to where they didn’t want to lose the little bit in the Tank so it didn’t get cleaned and would be sour. So we quit getting from them.

We don’t drink Coffee anymore.

One of the Amish markets make cottage cheese, its raw, it is so good, awesome good. have to see if I can go that direction soon now that I am thinking about it. But, been gone so long just don't want to leave the house.

I know bad but come October get Wine from the Germans.

Our Amish is crazy. Their butcher shop got shut down and I was showing them how to butcher.

I must admit we showed each other things.

It sounds like you’ve got a lot going on, but honestly, it’s great you’re thinking of raised beds for safety. Maybe a broad fork will make it easier on you? For the plants, if the temps aren’t too cold for them, they’ll probably be fine!

I have taken to putting good stout stakes in at the corners and along the edges of beds, just something to put my hand on helps my balance no end.

I was just reading up on my New Medication. Could give me Heart trouble or Seizures.
