Canned vegetable water as plant food?

I was draining some cans of green beans for dinner last night when I couldn't help wondering if I'm just pouring out something that could be nutritious to my plants. I know that canned fruit can be soaked in sugary syrups, but canned vegetable liquid looks like mostly water.

Has anyone ever heard feeding canned vegetable liquid to houseplants?

According to AI canned vegetable liquids contain a lot of sodium (salt). Also the liquid is not formulated to be an effective plant food althougn the liquid does contain trace amounts of NPK. In other words, don't give it to plants.
