Plant name?

Hello,
Hello . Can anyone tell me the name of this plant? I have two of them and they have been flowering profusely . Unfortunately, I have misplaced the name tag.

It looks like Lantana camara to me. However, I may be biased because I have several of them outside. I love 'em.

Thank you, I was thinking it was Lantana, but wanted to be sure. They are just beautiful, always in flower. I'm in zone 7a, and unfortunately they aren't considered perennials here .

Mine are perennial here. They seem to last about 5-6 years.

I read all these reviews proclaiming this plant and that plant as butterfly attractors...but day in and day out my Lantanas are far superior to any/all of them at attracting butterflies.

That's great to know, thank you . I think when they die back, I'm going to leave them and just see if they return next year. They say we're going to have a mild winter. I might just get lucky......wishful thinking .

Maybe give them a good cover of mulch to increase your "luck"

In Murray Kentucky we would have lantana overwinter some of the time, maybe even most of the time but it was variety dependent and the only variety that overwintered had orange flowers

They are excellent butterfly magnets but i think buddleia got it beat

Hmmm, thank you, Martin. I'm trying to make my flower beds all perennials, but I don't want big, lanky flowers, as the beds aren't that big. I will try my best with overwintering the Lantana, Que Sera Sera .

Not here...and it really isn't close.

One reason is lantana just keeps on blooming and producing nectar right through the heat, but buddleia blooming slows dramatically in the East Texas heat and apparently so does the nectar production.
