Hello all!
I planted this Camellia last summer and it was looking good but now in the spring rapidly browning leaves. It is in shade/ semi shade with Rhododendrons. I live in Vancouver Bc. Browning working it’s way up from bottom to top.. No bumps under the leaves. Current daytime temps around 10 C.
would love some advice. Thanks :)

I think that as long as there is no sign of insect damage there, it`s a possibility that your plants are suffering from a blast of cold weather and have some ''winter burn''
This is something we are likely to see a bit of here at the moment, as we`ve had some lovely early sunny days, followed by an arctic blast for two or three days.
Keep a watch for bugs and maybe wait for some warm days to decide. Very damaged limbs can always then be pruned out.

Thanks for your reply. I think you are correct. We have had some high winds and cold weather this year.
