Good camouflage UrbanWild. A fascinating bird too but frustrating to watch. :)

At least one of the bird boxes is occupied, I keep seeing a blue tit diving in and out.

There is a spotted woodpecker on the peanuts most mornings, but when I got up this morning there were three green woodpeckers on the lawn, digging. I have only seen one here before in four years.

I've never seen a Green woodpecker Oliver. Neither in England when I lived there, or here in the Highlands as there aren't any.

I've never seen them of course being from Canada but I didn't know they exist. I looked them up, very cool looking bird!

I reckon it must have been a family. They peck into the lawn and their whole beak disappears, I am told they go for ant nests, plenty of them this year.
