Nice one Becky; yes this side of The Pennines is set for a disaster next week too; I bet such high temperatures spark lots of thunderstorms and cloudbursts here in the valley?

6C here and I couldn't be bothered doing much today because everything outside is soaking wet as usual; tomorrow though I'll head into the workshop with an high of 11C. Rather than sit around moaning I've just done the ironing; I like to help Bron as much as possible.

We can blame alp for emptying three of her big water butts?

Thanks Logan. The end is nigh; it's actually stopped raining and its a bit warmer.

No sooner can I get into the workshop I'm interrupted; I'm now making a length of ceiling coving for our lovely neighbour Carole; if successful this will be possibly the only mahogany coving on a ceiling; the rest is polystyrene and I can't find a suitable match on the web; I'll be quicker just making it?
