Hi!

I invested some quite some money to buy quite grown Thuja hedge last november. It was planted by gardnerer and I was irrigating the hedge with drip hose.

The hedge is getting brown from this spring on and it is getting worse. Here are the pictures, what could that be and how to save the hedge? It is terrible.

The land is dry, but still the hedge should grow. It is dying. I had some problems with the neighbour, could someone be poisoning the hedge?

Thank you

Or die back caused by drying out :)
Not sure drip hose is great form of watering here.....a good soaking now and then is preferable I think
No, I dont think it is being vandalised. Cut out the dead foliage and water well
Thuya needs good depth of watering to do well.....I am pretty sure watering, or lack of it, is the problem

The spring and summer were both too dry. My other older hedge(Ligustrum vulgare) did also poorly this year.
Hope that is the issue and not cypress blight.
