Hmm so it seems I was wrong about the size. Last week i measured it and that was the correct size. I am now posting the accurate measurments in pictures. It stands 7 1/2 inches tall and the bloom size is 2 inches. I have been steadily reasearcing to try and find out if this is actually the worlds smallest sunflower of its type. Lol maybe ill call the folks at "Ripleys Believe it or Not..:bookworm::pompous:

NOTE: Our self made Miniature Sunflower is going to be our entry for the catigory "something that makes us smile". However, if we can only enter one of our flowers to be used for consideration in everyet

Hmm sorry just noticed that last post was somehow cut off. It was supposed to say....
If we can only enter 1 flower to the contest total, reguardless of intended catigory to compete in, then this will probably not be the one that we pick lol. Just thought it was unique enough to share. :D

Little one is very pretty, amazing to see one so small. Biggest one in garden is now forming petals. Others still growing.

@Larisa your sunflowers look very pretty! It looks like you have a good bit of them growing too.

@zigs your sunflower is very beautiful as well! Lol it almost looks like it is gazing out into the field and watching as the sun sets.

Here are some of our sunflowers from today. Its great to see them blooming after the months of taking care of them in an anticipation for this time of year. We love seeing everyone's pictures from different places in the world, and we look forward to seeing more of everyones progress. Hope everyone is doing well, be safe, and god bless!!

Seems like seed production has almost finished for our "mini" as shes begun to wilt away. Others are still growing and doing well, along with our newly planted 2nd batch. Hopefully they will have enough time left in the season to grow and bloom. Commercial growers in my area have just yesterday sewn their seeds, so I think we will be okay.

I meant to include this in my last post. I have also noticed that now all of the "secondary" flowers now also have more flowers branching off of them in pairs (one on each side).
