Pilea - crater like looking bumps under leaves!

Marie Fee

Hey Guys,

I have had my Pilea for a while and so far it has been going really welland the plant grew a lot.
About a week ago the plant shot out a few new leaves and after having a closer look at them I noticed that they gave little bumps on the bottom of the new leaves. They look like little craters.
It’s only on the two new leaves and than another one has a couple on them as well. The other leaves are fine and look healthy.
Does anyone know what that could be and how I should go about it?

Very seldom but it happens, this same thing occurs on pepper plants. It is caused by a mineral salt buildup during photosynthesis caused by too much water. Nothing to worry about.
