New butterfly

Took this pic last year. I have never seen this before or after in 60+ years in the garden. It landed first in my green beans and when I looked and finally found it I ran off to get the camera. Took this pic when he landed on my okra. In the beans he is literally invisible. Anyone know what it is.

It's pretty. After much googling Im pretty sure it's a Brimstone butterfly

I've never seen a butterfly like this. It's so pretty! Its wings look like little leaves:)

Wow, was it just my imagination or the wings of that butterfly actually resembled a green leaf? Very beautiful, by the way! I haven't seen a butterfly in that color in a while!

That's so cool. The butterfly looks like a piece of lettuce. That unique coloring must come in handy for camouflage. At first I wasn't sure what I was looking at.
