Missed the Super moon the other night, we were covered in Fog.
But, got this shot last night.
New camera is great.

That is amazing! Look at that moon, it looks almost as if it was right there in front of you, the right side looks interesting... it looks textured :) Just amazing what that moons is doing for us, controlling all those waves!

We mostly missed it too because of cloud cover in the area. We did get a half shot of it right when it got dark before the clouds moved in. If I remember correctly, this only happens every 9 years.

I have two cameras and used the wrong one which has an electronic viewfinder, unfortunately the automatic focus was battling with the viewfinder because of the strange light around the moon, so this is the only shot I got. I wish I had got a closer shot but it does show how blood red the moon was. :)

I was awake, but couldn't see it from my room :(

Wasn't going to go wandering around in the dark and break any more toes :D

I set the camera up on a tripod to get an eclipse when I was living in the mountains, filum jammed :rolleyes:

There was an earthquake at the second totality came though :)
