Looking to help the local bat population plus I would like to get them hanging out around the new house once it's up.

We see a few every night just before dark so I know they are here.

Tons of mosquitoes since we are in a bottom area and have some standing water in the 2 small creeks that run through the place.

I will take all of the tips and advice I can get on how to get houses up, house locations and so on.

Thanks in advance.

Bats are here too like you say, around dark and a security light lets you know they are around. I think they sleep in barns here. I believe in TN state parks they have erected bat houses for their future. I saw one at a state park so check with a Park Ranger. They are nice as can be and will tell you.

It could be coincidence, but I reckon our local bat has learned to switch on the security light and attract dinner.
