I just turned on the Mains Water today. The pump on the 20,000 gallon (90,000 liters) tank had been used since about this time last year. That's a record for me and here. Normally the tank water runs out in November. Is Adelaide having its wettest summer in about twenty years? I think so. May it continue.
Forty degrees Celsius outside today but the house only needs fans (no AC needed). The nights are cool this year sometimes as low as 9 degrees Celsius. Normally we have several heatwaves when the nights stay in the high twenties, low thirties.
So all good. Time for a beer.
