Heat and Light?

First off I have a Shop Light over my Sprouts and Seedlings. Right now I have it 24/7 because I'm still trying to figure out how to plug the Timer in. But how many hours should they have in a Greenhouse? I'm thinking 24/7 isn't going to hurt them.

Right now lowest temperature in the Greenhouse is in the 50's F I can still turn my Heater up if I need to.

Right now my Heat Pads are running 74F. I have them set on 80F. Is this ok?

What are they under? if you want to germinate seeds 70-80 is good for most things, on the other hand if you have seedlings I would reckon you could drop it down a bit before the missus sees the electric bill , it would save on watering as well.
Or did you mean is it okay that it is only making 74 when set at 80? I'd guess so, poor calibration.

Well I went out there and got a Timer on the light 18/6. Temperature was 83F not sure on that so going to check it later.

Just wanting some Basil and Peppermint to deter Bugs.
