You can make pies out of it also. Has to be baked soft first , let cool, or bake day before. Find a recipe for sweet potato pie, that will give you the appropriate measurements for the pulp ect. And spices. Me I'd do 2 cups squash, one can evaporated milk, 3 eggs, cup of sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt. Pour into a pie pan with crust. Bake one hour at 350Still got some Crown Prince squashes from last Autumn - have stored well over winter and now have a sweet and rich flavour. Experimenting with ideas to use them as normally just grill in slices. Grated a piece today and grilled/baked in oven with cheese and a slice of ham on toast - sprinkle of paprika. Yummy!
