I've had success making brandy from quince and plums but I've never tried using figs. I have quite a lot of figs this year and I'm thinking of trying to make brandy. I use a simple method using mixing vodka, sugar and fruit in a container, turning it every once in a while and usually in about 2-3 months I have a delicious night-time cordial. Has anyone done this with figs?

No but done another way I would be curious about figs as a liquor. Especially over a dessert or ice cream.
