Do my Blue Lake Bush Beans Look OK?

I live in north west Washington and planted these probably a month ago and they look a little weak. Last year I planted later and they did well. Are these looking OK and should I just leave them alone?

Honestly, they look like they may be suffering from too cool temps... anything below about 65 deg. F slows down growth for them.

If it were mine...yes, I would. It isn't likely the ones you have will ever grow out properly. Sorry to say.

The first bean or two looks stunted so they are going to suffer but the others you show will probably make it. You can probably still get 2 harvests of those in the same spot this year so no problem starting over. I could even with the pole bean version.

Those look small enough that you could make personal size greenhouses for them.

Clear plastic 2 liter bottles with one end cut off. Might help retain heat and moisture
