Why does dill turn red? What to do if the leaves on the garden bed dry up and turn red? The reasons for the phenomenon, how to deal with this ailment, how and with what should the plant be watered?
I can tell you that my dill (amongst other seedlings) looked like that when left in pots for too long. Those planted out are fine and healthy.
So that suggests it's not the cold nights (that we've been having). Plants in bigger pots also faired better (but not as good as those in the ground). So erratic watering? Lack of nutrients?
