Hello,
I recently took some cuttings from our Maple/acer trees in the back yard. The general consensus, from what I've gathered, is taking new growth that's starting to become firm at the base, dipping it in rooting powder, and putting it in a plastic box with ventilation and drainage holes. I've followed this for two separate species of acer trees that I'm looking to take with me when I move house so this is the last chance I'll get to try this.
It's been around a week now and they're drooping quite a lot, is this normal? Should I be doing something differently? Am I just over-thinking and panicking too much?
Any sort of advice or stories from personal experience would be really appreciated.
