I keep seeing white roots beach the soil. Bulbs are in a pot planted about three to four inches deep with the "eyes" up. The stalks are beginning to break the surface now, but I'm surprised to see roots coming through as well! Did I plant them the wrong way? Sorry no photos, it didn't photograph well and I buried the roots. Just seems odd.
