How is the winter weather in your area going to affect your gardens? It looks like much of the country is in for a really nasty winter again this year. Will this cause you any problems?

Last winter in Poland was mild. I hope this will be the same! I don't like low temperatures and I get frustrated whenever it's snowing:( Just thinking about snow makes me angry.
There is nothing more annoying than not being able to eat fresh vegetables and work in a garden.

We won't be gardening at all this winter :( we are in Ontario Canada and can only grow on the balcony so it just won't be happening. But I love knowing that I have the whole winter to PREPARE and get everything I will need for a great growing season 2015.

Well the snows have already started coming in so it makes for cold and wet ground. It's like working in icy mud. I don't think I will get much done this winter as far as gardening is concerned.

It does seem that we'll be in for a rough winter here in Maryland, if this exceptionally chilly Autumn weather is any indication. I'm actually a little bummed out about that, I've been excited to start gardening but I'm thinking perhaps overall I'll just do some research and wait until Winter is over to actually begin...

For me, I want to turn over the whole plot again, and hope this winter isn't quite as mild as last.
Winter kills off a lot of the nasties in the soil, and breaks it up nicely for spring planting, a bit like Shiva the destroyer making way for Brahma the creator.

I don't know if I will be doing much this winter, right now I am very busy with life and don't have much time left to do anything, but if it's not too nasty out there when things slow down for me a little I would like to get out there and do some work on the soil.

I hear it is going to be a nasty winter, even nastier than last year. The weather destroyed my flowers last year so I know it would do the same this year. I am going to wait the winter over and start fresh with the spring.

We are already in the 30 and so I think it is going to be a bad winter all around, especially for the plants. It is a little warmer here than other parts of the country, which are already starting to see snow, but I have a feeling we are in for a bad winter.
