Can anyone help me think of winter jobs to help me create a rough list please. TYA

Hello and welcome friend. What kind of winter jobs are you talking about? Lawn, garden, flower beds, trees, pruning, mulching and compost building, mowing, tilling, winter soil amendments, water systems, irrigation, and the list goes on. Do you have a garden or lawn with questions?

I'll assume you are talking about the veggie garden?

For the veggie garden:

1) remove all old plant debris and dispose of.

2) plant a thick heavy seeded cover crop that is suited for your area. Legumes are preferable for adding valuable nutrients to the soil.

3) You can generally overseed depending on the cover crop and how much plant matter remains but if needed you may benefit from tilling or scratching up the surface.

Good morning and welcome. There is always a garden buildings to sort out. Get rid of plastic pots you will never use again (I have a shed full of them). A lot of things like being planted in early winter like roses or garlic. Pruning everything except plum trees as it is the dormant season. Plan your vegetable plot for the spring. Clean and sharpen garden tools. The list is endless once you get your pencil and paper out and start making a list.

Prep your gardens like you're getting ready to plant then cover them some way: leaves, tarp, cover crops. You'll be ahead of the game next year. Worked great for me this year.
