Thank you Louis for your research. Of course today many plants are named after TV & film personalities. Of course most of the botanical names include the finder etc, such as Banksia etc.
I think that taking an interest in such research really does add to one acceptance and understanding of horticulture.

The Orchid genus Dracula was named after the titular character of Bram Stoker's famous novel.
The genus is native to southern Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Pictured is
Dracula vampira, endemic to Ecuador and with a name that doubles down on the theme.
