White spots on Maple tree.

Hi there, winding if anyone knows what these white spots that have shown up all over one of my maples trunk and branches are. Thanks for any insight!

I have the same thing on oak trees. Its called white stain fungus and is the beginning of a lichen. Nothing to worry about
