Which is better quality, Vigoro premium bagged shredded pine bark mulch or bulk shredded pine bark mulch from my local Living Earth company? I will use it for flower garden mulch; azaleas, lantana, coneclowers, hydrangeas, daylilies, etc.

It is nearly identical in price.

The best mulch to use for anything you plant to eat should have an MSC logo. This ensures no recycled treated wood or dyes that are arsenic. It is sort of the OMRI logo for mulch certification.

I bought bulk mulch from Living Earth for my non edible landscape areas-- trees & flowerbeds, and was very satisfied with it.
