What is the ground cover plant in picture 2 please @Meadowlark ?
Not certain but I think it is Sedum ‘Lemon Coral’ (a Sedum mexicanum variety).

It made it through the last winter just fine and seems like a promising ground cover.

I'll say one thing...if it survives the Texas winters and summers like this has, it is definitely a keeper. I'm thinking of moving some over onto the old waterfall on the converted micro pond...cascading down.
