Oh, nice to see Owcho again @zigs. I remember him from his bloomin' days. Is he back home again?

Here are a couple of blues and purples:
Training Lantana, wonderfully fragrant
View attachment 17602
Salvia farinacea Victoria Blue. Very first bloom (well he is working on it). Four plants from seed that will clump and provide company for the Orange Jasmine (Muraya p) :) and also the Ixora on the other side.View attachment 17604

The Brazilian Verbena is also blooming in a color identical to the Lantana, but the photo is not too good. The Plumbago would be blooming blue if i hadn't pruned it

The last one is gorgeous .. Looks like a salvia..

got cared away as it was such a nice day the forsythia I have been trimming regular for a customer( friend ) so as to pack in the flowers in mass. I find they hang on to the blooms twice as long if pruned regular through summer. My rusty wheel barrow has just started to flower:)

Beverly: 2nd photo is of Clematis Armandii. It's an evergreen and has a very short flowering period. It has long green foliage, but most of the year, it doesn't do much, but at this time, it bursts thousands of flowers, Just like a Montana.. Low maintenance and it is so vigorous that people use it as a boundary divider..

Daren: beautiful photos.. Love the rustic wheelbarrow too. A very imaginative use.. Love the snowflakes and bought quite a few last year. .. I wish I had as many flowers in my camelia .. I can see the child in you..

Daren: I love all plants, well most .. even those I can never grow .. I always want to try erythronium.. but I killed the seeds again... and I love meconopsis and now I have seedlings now, but Essex is just too hot for them. Love to see them in your meadowy and big gardens. I also like photos.

Guess what, I have my armandii exactly like that ... up the top of a rose arch but my cheap arch is leaning forwards towards the sun... (Where not to position a rose arch should be a topic here!, LOL!) and it's going to collapse under the weight. After more than 10 years of neglect, the Armandii has burst into hundreds of flower. The poor thing has been confined to a big 60L square pot and I had never watered it. But this year, the feeds have translated into hundreds of flowers..

I love Tulips Imperial fritillaries, but I was mean and bought one corm with A HOLE IN IT and it died.. I was heart broken. Please upload a photo when they say hello to you.. So love to have them. £2 each .. I must buy 3 and make sure the corms are healthy this fall.

Some photos from the garden yesterday - I had a little stroll to feed the fishes and stretch my back :)

Our new(ish) forsythia:

We have two standard camellias, and both are covered in buds at the moment. Each has one fully opened flower!

And finally our new(ish) ceanothus, which has doubled in size since we planted it last year! Flowers are almost ready to bloom :)
