Starting a garden from seed takes time, but it's insanely affordable and well worth the wait! What a difference a year has made in my garden!

Cypress vine - a volunteer actually - has given its first flower. Tiny ball-pollen! Second image is "pollen on a platter"!

Last year my Cardwell Lily [Proiphys amboinensis] showed up only lovely leaves despite resting the bulbs for winter. This time too I rested them, but did not remove from the pot. I wanted to wait till the rainy season to bring it out from the shed. The rainy season has started but not enough rains here, but I was delighted to see 4 bulbs sending out these! Enjoy! The bulbs are with me for some years.
