Lovely.

I need to write my May garden journal update. I have buds on nearly all my veggies now - zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, okra, potatoes, and strawberries. Herbs are not thriving, so much, not sure what to make of them. Can't tell if they are thirsty or what. I tend to ignore herbs, and wait until they get out of control - so I'm always a little baffled when the growth process is so slow.

I think my main goal for June needs to be MORE MULCH - haha. I'd like to get my garden to a more self-reliant ignorable state. It seems mulch is the key.

With out of turn rain and sweltering heat I cannot boast of a good garden in June. But if this makes you feel good

Thank you. The edit is only for replies.I think. I do not see the edit for posts. There is another post where I want to replace the image 'collage of what grows....' I do not see the edit tab there.

Going to have tomatoes ripening soon. These ones are called Indigo Rose. They are purple on top with green on the bottom. When ripe the tree will turn to red.

What stunning tomatoes JBH(y)! Look too good to eat but I'm sure they'll be delicious.

Although I kept forgetting my camera throughout May - when all my pretties were looking their best and the cherry trees were laden with fruit - as I suddenly remembered this thread when going into the garden this morning and did for once actually take my camera with me :D here are some of the Apricots that are currently in the process of being picked
