What's looking good in June 2015

Although I kept forgetting my camera throughout May - when all my pretties were looking their best and the cherry trees were laden with fruit - as I suddenly remembered this thread when going into the garden this morning and did for once actually take my camera with me here are some of the Apricots that are currently in the process of being picked

Never seen an apricot tree and that too with apricots filled to the brim

Never mind the fruit smashing - one of those dropping onto anyone unfortunate enough to be under that canopy - when one of those fruits felt it was time to flee the nest so to speak - could suffer some serious damage

Remembered my camera again in the evening - so here is another at the opposite end of the day - a young " Caesalpinia Gilliesii " or " Bird of Paradise Tree " taken just as the sun was setting last night

I spotted a Cinnabar moth today, don't think I've ever seen one before. This was the best photo I could get:

Elderflowers, you can make Elderflower Champagne or Cordial from the flowers, and a red wine from the berries

June is not a total let down. I see these flowers through our guest room window: I call them jungle fire. Anyone knows the real name? I have them in 3 colours - orange, pink and yellow.

@grouie Jackfruit and Durian are two of Mrs Bootsy's favourite fruits

One needs to cultivate a taste for durian I am told as it kind of has an unpleasant smell.

And as for your pictures is it fair that all things bright and wonderful that the good Lord made them all should be concentrated at one place?
