Whats this digging up my lawn?

When i woke up this morning, there looked like a nocturnal creature has been digging in the garden. Doesnt look like typical squirrel activity. My neighbours garden also affected. Just curious.

Do you have feral pigs around? Maybe a single small one could do that but usually more damage.

Perhaps the very dry spell, digging for worms in that nice grass!

Badger or secret garden gnome uprising... either way, your lawn didn't stand a chance.

You have grubwormes in your lawn friend. Foxes and badgers will tear up the grass in search of the grubworms. Where I live it raccoons, skunks and even foxes will do same damage.

I was about to list the three animals that dig up my yard, but then I noticed you're from the UK...So probably not relevant....

But I'll list them any way...Racoon, Opossum, Armadillo.
