Can anyone specifically identify what is going on with this weeping fig tree? A lot of the leaves have whitish/light green spots (no particular pattern) and it’s shedding a lot of leaves. I just received it from a neighbor who was keeping it outside. I have since moved it inside due to the Midwest climate change. It is in a 13” ceramic pot. I’m unsure of the age of the plant, but it is already approximately 8.5ft tall. Thank you for any help and insight provided in order to make this plant thrive! If there is a place to show pics, I will gladly share.

Was able to post pics! This is the front and back of a couple of the leaves and then a full pic of the tree.

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Those leaf-spots do look like some type of fungal disease, perhaps anthracnose. Remove dead and dropped leaves and put a new layer of clean mulch on the soil. Also remove the worst infected leaves. You will need to balance removing fungal spores with keeping enough leaves on the plant. Also apply a Neem oil spray.

Besides the leaf spots, this plant has been moved from a (probably) brighter outdoor area to a darker, drier indoor environment. This is stressful to the plant. It will need to adjust.
It is good you have it right in the window. Consider pruning off the top part that is higher than the window. You will want to concentrate growth where the light is best.
Water regularly, with good drainage, letting the soil partly dry before watering again.
Also I would give an application of a complete liquid fertilizer now to encourage growth to replace what is being lost.
Also a plant with proper nutrition will be better able to fight off an disease infection.

Thank you so much for all your advise! I’m a pretty novice plant owner, but I have really taken to it and this is my first “rescue”. I will absolutely give all of this a go and let ya know
