Let's talk about the gudfunnit weather this morning shall we.....
Roof has been fixed twice.
Still leaking.
How do I know you might ask.. Funny story.
So this morning I get up, I've been planning a surprise party for my girlfriend. Cooked all night last night so I got up to empty the dishwasher while I made coffee.
I forgot to put a cup under the Keurig so I was able to catch about 1/4 of the cup.
Cleaned the counter and the floor of all the coffee
Started another cup.
Apparently I math badly because a full cup and 1/4 cup equal a cup runneth over, all overeth my freshly cleaned countertop and floor...Again.
Fine whatever...
Go outside to check on fish and pond. It's pouring down rain and yep... My roof is STILL LEAKING!!
Whatever, today is party day and I'm trying to remain upbeat.
Now the secret squirrel plan is to meet my girlfriend after work and keep her busy until 6 while her kids set up decorations, bake, and set up all the food I cooked.
I walk back inside after checking on the fish and there's a text from said girlfriend that she's STAYING HOME TODAY AND CAN'T MEET ME.
I figure I'll work something out on my way to work.
Which by the way involved the first day of school, lots of flooding from all the rain AND a huge accident which diverted traffic to my road less traveled (not today, today that mofo was traveled on by EVERYBODY).
Get to work and I FORGOT MY COFFEE ON MY SUPER DUPER CLEAN COUNTERTOP.
