I imagine the growing season by you is 4 to 5 months ?.

Ours is all year long yet we are limited to tomato types due to heat . A friend lives in Italy and he puts out massive tomatoes 4 to 5 months a year .

Yes, massive ones from Spain and Italy. We have freaky weather here this year. End of July 29c and today 9c. Sick and vile weather. Ruin all our dreams! Ask your friend in Italy about pepperdew peppers and see what he/she says please. Mind you, they are probably more popular in Greece!

Here is one of my 3 pepper plants since posting this question .

I regret removing the peppers but I plucked them all a few days ago . This is Carolina Reaper and Shishito peppers in same pot but doing great .

The others are all different .
